I bought Simply Beaming because while I already have a gold shimmer topper, I didn't have one with Clionadh's great formula and sometimes a girl wants options.
I painted it over 2 coats of Manucurist's Aubergine cream, and instead of getting a light catching shimmer as advertised by the brand, I got an antique gilded effect and had to forego all my plans for the rest of my afternoon so I could look at my nails under every light source nearby.
I am now buying the rest of the collection to get misled again in multiples colors.
